Actually, having taken a further look at your suggestion, I see now that you were saying I needed to change the time zone for the entire phone in order to make a calendar entry in another time zone. That isn't what I meant: I was referring to changing the timezone of a single entry - something that is relatively straightforward on the Mac version of Calendar: you simply select the timezone you want in the dialog box when composing the entry and there is no need to change the timezone for the entire machine. That's why I expected there to a similar option in iOS. But it would seem Calendar for iOS does not, perhaps suprisingly, support timezones.

When you set the date/time for the entry, you are presented with a setting for the time zone, and you can change the time zone to anything you wish at that point.
