Legend of Rune is a BL / gay visual novel game that takes place in a high fantasy setting. It follows the adventures of Rune, a young fire mage who has been destined to destroy the world. Rune meets four other mages on his journey, who are the romance candidates for the game. The game also features a puzzle-battle system, where battles are fought through a tile-matching game. The game will be released for PC on Steam (and Android and iOS)!

Rune grew up living in hiding with his father, Len. They lived peacefully in their small secluded cabin, but then, one day, soldiers from the Kingdom of Salvis came and took Rune away. The kingdom keeps him imprisoned for five years, until, on his 18th birthday, Rune blacks out and wakes up to find himself in the middle of a forest. In his confusion, Rune begins to wander through the woods, and his journey to escape his destiny begins.
On his adventure, Rune meets 4 other mages that aid him in his travels; each with their own desires and motives for joining Rune’s party. What secrets do these men hold? In the land of Ahzarrya, the two ruling kingdoms, Salvis and Malum, have been in a seemingly endless war for hundreds of years. The kingdoms have different ideals, but they both wish to have complete control over the world. Outside of the kingdoms, there are clans of mages that are not affiliated with either side. Originally, the clans were of five different types of elemental magic; fire, earth, water, light, and dark. However, after the all-knowing seer Vijira predicted the destruction of the world by the hand of a fire mage, almost every member of the fire clan was systematically killed.

This will allow players to choose what kind of spells and passive abilities they have in battle, rather than gaining predetermined skills. • $24,000 – Mobile Version - The game will be released for Android/iOS mobile devices! • $27,000 – Secret Character - A secret fifth romance candidate will get their own route! • $30,000 – Cuddling Scenario - Each of the guys will get an extra scenario where they have some quality cuddle time with Rune! It is an extremely early alpha and does not yet have an advanced option menu or save slots (only has checkpoint saves). The UI is not final, the puzzle battles will have more features, and the writing will receive further polish. We will also have our own original soundtrack in the full game. The demo is only optimized for 16:9 aspect ratios but will be optimized for all aspect ratios in the full game.
